Blood Red Streets
When a leading political candidate is murdered amidst the most tempestuous election campaign in years, London is set to explode. Bitter divisions afflict not just the populace, but also political leaders. The stakes have never been higher.
Detectives Trench and Jazz take on the investigation, determined to solve the case and prevent the city descending into all out chaos. But not everyone wants to see them succeed. Too many vested interests see profit from the carnage. And in such a malign political climate, virtually everyone is a suspect.
Battling to solve the case, they soon realise the truth may be the most dangerous outcome of all.
The Dark Side of Blue
The glamorous heiress to one of London’s wealthiest fortunes is reported missing. Her desperate parents haven’t heard from her since she attended a high-society function at the Dorchester. Case-hardened pragmatist, DCI Trent Chambers, is less convinced her disappearance is cause for concern.
But then the body of a young woman is discovered. Bound. Gagged. Tortured. Murdered.
Media speculation grows frenzied. Powerful political interests pile impossible pressure on an already stretched Met Police Command. Dubious decisions stalk the investigation.
As intensity increases, DCI Chambers must fight to stay focused and follow the investigation wherever it leads. Even if that’s into the dark heart behind London’s carefully manufactured façade.
But he knows he must move quickly. All evidence suggests the depraved killer will surely strike again. Soon…
Colin Doyle
I’ve been an avid consumer of crime fiction from a very young age. Starting with Tintin, then moving on to The Hardy Boys, I was soon devouring every book I could get my hands on. By mid-teens I was penning the odd short story, before writing my first novel aged about nineteen. Sadly, that was lost when an old family computer got recycled. Sad for me, that is. Definitely no loss to the vast expanse of human knowledge towering on the shelves of libraries the world over.
Fast forward a few years of mild distractions like university, career and parenthood, and I’m now the author of a series of crime novels set in London.
